Our missions are to sets the technical standards for all courses and programs offered by its students and / or distance education based on public, communication and information technology, to provide the necessary coordination between the university and the university environment in order to provide the necessary tools and develop the relevant infrastructure and environment and to ensure the success of distance education programs. In addition, to provide tracking, reporting and evaluation of activities related to distance education activities in KTU. KTU UZEM continues its activities within the framework of distance education regulations based on communication and information technologies among universities. Other than that to organize seminars, trainings and programs to provide the necessary training programs through distance education and to inform and inform KTÜ students and lecturers about the work done in Turkey and the world is also among our missions. To accredit and manage the courses prepared by the teaching staff to provide distance education and to provide technical and infrastructure support to the teaching staff are our missions.
Our vision is to increase the quality of education by using distance learning technologies effectively, by delivering the high knowledge and experience of our university lecturers with the help of distance education technologies based on the principle of "lifelong and unlimited learning" for the individuals who constitute the society.
